Collaborating for a Cause: MEPA and UWU Leos Partner to Beautify Sri Lanka's Coastal Belt

The project aims to plant 30 Pandanas Plants along the Calido Beach belt to minimize sea erosion and support the tourism industry. Collaborating with the MEPA, the project aims to beautify the coastal belt, mitigate storm surges, and provide income for local communities. Leos volunteers their time and expertise, and the project is planned via Zoom due to fuel constraints and crisis in Sri Lanka. Club funds cover all project expenses.
