The Uva Hashra Project: A Guide to Promoting Social Change

The "Uva Sahashra" project aims to promote exportation and value addition in Sri Lanka, promoting agriculture sector entrepreneurs by planting grafted sweet tamarind plants with high economic and medicinal values. This underutilized fruit crop is popularized among the community and aids undergraduate research. By reducing importation from countries like India and Thailand, the project aims to create more entrepreneurs in the agriculture sector.
